-I am currently finishing my undergraduate double-major at Grace College. I am studying both Criminal Justice and Psychology. -My GPA is currently 3.7 -I plan to graduate on May 7, 2016 -I went to school with a full-ride Lily scholarship in 2012 that I earned through a competitive process involving an interview, a paper, and 80 other students. I was one of the two winners of the scholarship.
Experience
I am currently doing an internship at Washington Elementary. For this internship, I assist the school by motivating students to focus on their work in any way possible. I also help a 3rd grade math class by enabling students who are struggling in their understanding of the class material. I graduated from high school with honors and attained a 4.2 GPA. academically, I was in the top 1% of my class. I took several AP classes because I had the desire to both learn and succeed. I have worked at a summer camp as a counselor for 4 different groups, grades 1-6. Last summer, I went overseas to Japan for a school trip. I have an interest in learning new cultures and ideas, because observing cultures and history is a great way to understand how to solve modern problems.

Hobbies
I enjoy working with people, especially one on one. It is fulfilling for me to solve challenges in creative ways, especially when it helps other people succeed. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and their languages. Traveling is exciting to me, as it allows me to further develop my worldview and my knowledge about other cultures. I hope to teach English as a foreign language next year so that I can see another culture, help others, and save money for grad school. My goal is to eventually become a counselor so that I can help people overcome their daily obstacles in life. I also enjoy journalism, writing, playing the drums, exercising, and playing video games.
